Veterinary Medicine Specialists of Dallas / Ft. Worth (VMS) is a referral-based practice that specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of internal medicine disorders in dogs and cats. Our doctors (known as veterinary internists) have received significant additional training after their formal veterinary education to become boarded in Small Animal Internal Medicine by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM.org).    By performing special and advanced tests to establish a diagnosis, we help to develop and implement a treatment plan and assist your primary care veterinarian to maintain your pet's health. We are open Monday through Friday for routine appointments and emergency referrals. Staff will be available for calls between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Patients scheduled as drop-off appointments (not available for initial evaluations of patients) may arrive starting at 7:30 AM. Now offering cardiology consultations!
